"New Years Day With The Whisky Pills Fiasco"

The Whiskey Pills Fiasco at Pier 23

Forget about celebrating New Year’s Eve, and come celebrate New Year’s Day with the Whiskey Pills Fiasco at Pier 23. Why bother cramming into an over-crowded bar serving watered-down drinks, or an overpriced venue on the biggest amateur night of the year? Instead, you could party like a rock star and ring in 2010 with all the professionals.

For the past six years, Pier 23 has opened its doors at 6 am on New Year’s Day, hosting a lively industry party with a free show performed by the famous Psychobilly Band, the Whiskey Pills Fiasco. The venue has great outdoor seating overlooking the bay, and is the perfect place to be caught dancing and drinking a mimosa on New Year’s Day when the sun comes up.

For all the people who are stuck at work on New Year’s Eve, or for those who wish to avoid the mob and stay in for the 2010 countdown, this party is for you.

The WHISKY PILLS FIASCO Delivers a fresh Y'allternatlive romp through the back roads of American music. From Savannah Ga, whisky pills, former front man of the PBR Street Gang and stand up bass player for the legendary Jinx Jones and the Kingtones, has assembled a top shelf cast of players. With chicken pickin' guitar ace Danny Fiasco out of Tallahassee Florida, Johnny fiasco on drum from Winston Salem North Carolina and Coalinga's own Davy Fiasco on washboard and vocals.
The WHISKY PILLS FIASCO are like a midnight stroll to the cat house, infectious, contagious and bumping all night long.
