White Flag Raised

White Flag Raised (originally Ben Weir Acoustix) started up when Ben Weir decided to record an EP of songs from his computer at home. He entitled the EP "I'm Still Breathing EP" and he recorded every instrument and vocal track on the album. The EP featured 6 songs and his songs "They Will Never Forget" and "The Heart That I Could Never Win" became instantly popular among Ben's listeners. They began asking him to do live performances and to give his fans the full music experience he decided to start a full band. His long time friend Joshua Smith immediately joined the band to play guitar. Ben and Josh tried out two different drummers and decided it'd be best to go with Christopher Kreiger. All three musicians have over 10 years experience with their primary instruments and have been in several other bands (including worship bands at their church). Together White Flag Raised forms one of the most exciting Alternative/Rock bands in Denver and has partnered up with Best 303 Sounds who publicizes the best bands in Denver. They recently released a single of their song "Everything's A Love Song" which is available on Itunes. Their plans ar to release a full album by Summer of 2012.
