White Hot

White Hot

BandRockNew Age

White Hot was formed with the goal of making music that incorporates both quality musicianship and an open mind. Their debut EP was self-produced (with some help from friends) with influences ranging from driving rock to ambient progressive and new wave.

Biography

White Hot formed in October of 2008 when members Dave Weingarten (drums) and Sean Stolar (vocals, guitars) met at Ithaca College, where they began writing music together. Soon after that, they recruited Michael Joy (keys, organs, Rhodes), Dan Timmons (bass) and Sam Byron (guitars) to fill out the group. Hailing from a wide range of musical backgrounds, this quintet from Ithaca, NY represents a new approach to rock music.

White Hot recently finished their debut self-titled E.P. which they produced and recorded in Ithaca, NY.

Lead singer/primary songwriter, Sean Stolar, has performed at many major venues, including CBGB's, The Knitting Factory, and The Viper Room.

Though still young, White Hot is quickly gaining local recognition, having been asked to play shows with such acts as Marco Benevento and Gary Jules.

White Hot's self titled E.P. is currently streaming on Myspace, with physical mediums coming in late August. They will be booking and playing as many shows as possible to support it .
