White linen

White Linen has been playing together since 2005. Band members include:

Edwin Ray (singer/acoustic guitar/keys/songwriter) has composed over 150 songs, 3 large scale musicals, 2 complete piano concertos and other miscellaneous classical works as well.
He’s also collaborated with other artists. He graduated from the Jackson College of Ministries with a degree in music.
He has also earned a bachelor’s in piano performance from Mississippi College.
On the basis of his original compositions for piano and orchestra, he was invited to attend the prestigious Julliard School of Music.

Terry Ledbetter (Lead guitar and songwriter) has been playing for 18 years and has paid his dues in various rock bands prior to White Linen.
His melodic style of soloing and rhythm, work well with White Linens unique style.
His influences include Boston, The Eagles, Lynard Skynard, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Paul Gilbert, Van Halen and others.
Terry also teaches guitar at a music store where he is from.

Mason Ledbetter (drums) is the youngest member of White Linen and also the son of Terry Ledbetter.
He is known for his solid and very powerful pop on the snare. Mason is the heartbeat of White Linen.
His technical but tasteful solid playing adds depth and texture to the group.
He is a fan of all types of music and is influenced by artists such as Lars Ulrich, Jon Bonham, Daniel Adair and others.

Extraordinary talents by extraordinary people

Together these individuals, who’s backgrounds and talents season the groups overall dynamics, have developed the signature sound of a contemporary/Christian rock group which has been a work in progress for the past 5 years. Listen to the lyrics -the messages are clear, uplifting, inspirational and heartwarming.

Their new lead single, “Lay It All Down”, which is off of their new self-titled CD, is a prime example of the perfect blend of voice vs. machine.
The vocals are crisp, yet raw and full of emotion.
The guitar solo in this song signifies a secondary voice which cries out to be heard.
“The theme of this song is for encouragement or motivation to lay these things down -to get rid of your addictions and so on.
We pray it reaches and helps millions of people.”.
