Bio

White Lion is a classically trained vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, award winning composer, and producer hailing from the Washington, DC area. He has made it to the forefront of the reggae community as a young lion with a big voice. As a DJ (DJ Lbs./Lbs. Productions Boston, MA), VJ (Light Multimedia), Singer, and Guitar player he has played at venues such as Monkey Town (Brooklyn), The Knitting Factory (NYC), Bill's Bar (Boston), The Beachcomber (Cape Cod), The Boston Center for the Arts, The White Mountain Unity Fest 2005 (Opening for Batch, Ras Attitude, and The Zioneers Band), and many other venues in NC, MA, NY, VT, NH, and RI.

He has performed in ensembles such as Dr. Richard Boulanger and the JBS trio(U of Fl.), The New Souls (Boston), Tjovi Ginen (NYC), viceversah (Boston), The Weight of Wisdumb (Boston), and Berklee's Bob Marley Ensemble (as the Lead Singer). Recently, he has joined forces with reggae sensation Ras Justin Matthews in his band The I-ternals, playing guitar and singing backup vocals. He has been featured on numerous independently produced recordings since 1998. After a performance in Boston, MA, he went out to dinner with some very special guests. One wrote a note to Lion which read, "Keep the fire burning, Bob (Marley) would have been very satisfied." One Love!
