Magnificent Seven Demo
Soul Speaker, Live From the Fields

Feeling a bit camera shy

Magnificent Seven is made up of 7 veteran musicians:

Papa Don is the lead guitarist, but switches off with other members in the group to man the bass, and keyboard. Don sings lead and back up vocals, a seasoned professional musician, Don most recently toured with the ZZ Top Tribute Sharp Dressed Man. He is an experienced studio musician, having played guitar, bass, and keyboards on numerous recording projects, both here in the KC area and in Nashville. Don has such a large repertoire that he is a sort of human juke box. In White Rabbit, he covers the hits of Grand Funk, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Bachman Turner, ZZ Top and many more.

Don Desmond also lead guitar and vocals.
Don is a accomplished guitarist and veteran performer. By adding Don to the Magnificent Seven we are able to get the dual leads that are the signature of such groups as the Allman Bros, and Charlie Daniels band.

Dustin is the band's superman on Drums. Dustin has been a professional drummer since the age of 12. He has played with a number of groups over the span of his 23 year career. Most recently he toured with Don in the ZZ Top Tribute Sharp Dressed Man. Now anyone, who knows anything about drumming, knows that it takes a precision drummer to imitate Frank Beard of ZZ Top. Dustin is also one of the fine vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter.

Dallas lead singer and rhythm guitar. He also switches off with other band members to play bass, and drums. Dallas has been a professional musician since he was in his teens and brings a lot of the south land to the stage as he covers Southern Rocks greatest hits. Such as: Lynyrd Skynyrd & Marshall Tucker, The Eagles, and Allman Brothers.

Denver, is the lead vocalist on the contemporary-alternative style rock. Denver also, has a very large repertoire of original songs, and wrote and produced an eight song collection of his early original songs, which he entitled, Soul Speaker Live From the Fields. He has since matured as a writer and is developing his own very unique style.

Denver has been inspired by the poetic artistry of Dylan, The Beatles, Petty, and Cash. Every song Denver writes is marked by a unique use of the English language in a lyrical style that he then sets to music. He simply expresses the emotion of the lyric and tells the story, and then enhances it with instrumentation that has no boundaries of style or genre. Denver is currently in the midst of producing a major recording project, which will feature some his latest and best works.

Dana is the sweet baby of the group, but look out she has a powerful rock and blues voice. Dana is best known for her Janice Joplin tributes, but also covers the hits off Linda Ronstadt, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Led Zeppelin. Dana doesn’t just sing the songs she performs the songs, putting body and soul into every song she brings to the stage.

Vicki is background vocalist for the group. Vicki also, plays rhythm guitar. Vicki is a trained professional vocalist with experience in singing everything from opera to country. She has performed on stage in Nashville and appeared on National Television, but her roots are in the sounds of folk and gospel, where she learned the art of harmonization from Peter, Paul, and Mary, and the Mama’s and the Papas. As a lead vocalist she covers the hits of: Carol King, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Kiki Dee, Shocking Blue, and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane.
