It’s very rare that you come across a young artist who demands to be better then just average. Meet White Wash, (16) AKA David Coffin, hailing from Bibb County, Alabama. The young "Home town favorite" spent most of his childhood in Springville, Alabama, then moved to Brent at 8 or 9, where he first found his love for music. White Wash is nothing more than amazing. While in just third grade he first performed on stage at Haysop Church, while the crowd looked on in awe and gave him a standing ovation. Dave then went on too pursue music seriously. In the eighth grade, he admits in school most kids were jealous of him and he just felt like an outcast, which gave him more time to perfect his music skills. The young teen recalls, "All I did in school was write raps,” then after school let out White Wash went home and wrote more raps.
As time went on the teen dedicated himself to getting better and better. More people were responding to his raps. White Wash managed to do many shows in and around the state of Alabama. He also won second place in a rap competition last year. He performed in the New York International Music Festival 2005. White Wash is the true definition of the "diamond in the rough," waiting to be found and polished for the world to enjoy. He is ready to put his state on the map and bring people into his life as he lives it and paints a vivid picture for all too see and hear.

“Basically, I am looking for a record deal and I want to be the first artist to put Alabama on the map in this rap game, in a major way.”
