Love is a Candidate

Written By: Whitney Hyde

Here we are, speak the truth
We are the models of today's youth
Tomorrow we'll make history
Just exercise your right
Vote for me

Now Love is Candidate that's true
But this time love is running against you
Listen now to what I'll say
Love is a candidate of yesterday

Well here are, now aren't we proud
Appealing to the masses
This is my kind of crowd
Tomorrow we stand in victory
Just exercise your right,
vote for me, yeah exercise your
rights and vote for me

Now Love is Candidate that's true
But this time love is running against you
Listen now to what I'll say
Love is a candidate of yesterday
Love is a candidate of yesterday
Love is a candidate....

Feels Right to Me

Written By: Whitney Hyde

Verse 1

Everybody’s saying, something’s got to give someday

And everybody’s showing they’re showing me a better way

But if they, know what they’re doing

Then why are their lives just the same?

Verse 2

Everybody’s saying, things are going to be alright

And everybody’s taking; they’re taking their sweet old time

And if they knew what they’re doing

Then why are they all standing in line?

Chorus

Well I don’t even wonder what I’m doing cause I’m doing it everyday

Taking what I’m given, trying to make a living and that’s alright

Cause it Feels Right to Me.

Verse 3

Everybody’s saying, something’s got to give someday

And everybody’s showing they’re showing me the better way

But if they, know what they’re doing

Tell me why are their lives just the same?

Chorus

Along the Walk

Written By: Whitney Hyde

Intro chorus
We laughed, along the walk
Cause this where, the people talked
And we lived, along the walk
Cause this where, the people talked

Verse 1
And what’s it all matter now, because everything has changed
All of the people, all those landmarks are rearranged
But you can still see where that railroad used to run
And if you listen, you’ll hear the children having fun

Chorus
As they laughed….

Verse 2

Time was the enemy, and his dirty work is done
There are only the memories, of the proud and lucky ones
You ask the old man to recall his early days
And he remembers, like it were only yesterday

Chorus
As he laughed, along the walk….
