WHO DEM?(formerly Meal Ticket) winners of the 2006 Underground Music Awards for Best Rap Group hails from Providence, RI. The group consists of three talented MC's, Jahsh Fiyah(Long Island, NY), 1'er (Brooklyn, NY), and Big Flizz(Providence, RI) with production supplied by Merc, Con and Justincase of The Boiler Room Studio.
WHO DEM? is synonymous to great HIP HOP music, cleverly orchestrated with innovative beats and prolific lyrics. With their unprecedented energy, it is no surprise WHO DEM? was nominated for BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE at the 2006 UMA's.
The group prides itself on its versatility...being that they are an East coast group with the swagger to appeal to all who appreciate good music, regardless of which coast they represent. WHO DEM? has an established reputation and strong fan base throughout New England. Along with the newest addition to the team, R&B singer Shane Lee, WHO DEM? is on a mission to share their music and unique sound with a wider audience.
