Bio
Bo Simmons, better known as Bo-G, is one of the most influential rap artists, film directors, actors and community activist in his hometown of Chicago. Born on the Northside, a mulatto, Bo grew up in foster and group homes all throughout the city and some surrounding suburbs dubbing him the alias Mr. Everywhere which is one of the many reasons he is so diverse musically and personally while appealing to various ethnic backgrounds. Having a degree in Business Management and spending six consecutive years in prison for drugs and attempted murder only shows the layers of his perseverance to be successful. Bo’s magnetic personality and electrifying stage presence are among the slew of reasons why he is becoming a cultural staple. His idealistic and visionary train of thought provides him with the capabilities of storytelling and scriptwriting. Bo has directed, filmed and edited over 200 music videos for various artists along with short films that he wrote, directed, produced and starred in such as “Blindsided” and “3KINGZ” Bo-G, founder of Rawfootage Music Group and Greynova Films has released six mixtape/albums titled; Posted, Still Posted Vol.2, Chicago’s DNA, 16 EitherWay, Aint No Secret and his most recent 88 Keyz.
