Why Wednesday formed in WA's capital, Perth, in August 2003 and soon made a sizable impact on the live rock scene, wowing pub crowds with their back to basics, no-nonsense, balls to the wall brand of hard rock. With a sound reminiscent of the great rock outfits of the '70's and 80's that have stood the test of time - but with a competitive edge all their own - mammoth anthems like 'Dragonfly', 'Blonde Zombie' and'Neighbours Nightmare' (to name but a few) serve as the template for which this band plans to continue attracting rock music lovers to each of their fiery, energetic gigs (events in themselves).
