Wicked Earth is a 4-piece band from Pittsburgh, PA that plays straight rock 'n' roll music.
They combine a growling, bluesy Gibson guitar, a tight, heavy and moody bass/drum combo, and strong emotional/melodic vocals.
Within the rock realm they have a broad range of influences that are apparent in the diversity of their songs, which range from acoustic to metal.
Their newly-released self-produced 10-song LP entitled ‘Seas of Discontent’ demonstrates this diversity.
With songs ranging from short energetic bursts to more exploratory musical journeys, Wicked Earth exhibits song writing skills that are not characteristic of a band with only one record under it's belt.
Yet with this diversity Wicked Earth maintains a very distinct, consistent sound that is easy to dig into if you're a fan of old-fashioned rock 'n' roll.
