Wiggins Sisters

The Wiggins Sisters won the prestigious JPF International Award for best Americana CD in 2009.  The Wiggins Sisters have won numerous prestigious songwriting awards incl ones from Amnesty International, Fast Folk Café in NYC and the  reknowned Kerrville Folk festival.  They garnered national radio airply both here and abroad. They won best independent song BBC England in 1999. 

Family lore has it they sang before they talked. Mizzy and Casey Wiggins are a folk and roots rock Americana duo known for their powerful voices and rich sibling harmonies.
The Wiggins Sisters can belt the blues or sing quiet Appalachian-style harmonies with equal confidence. Mizzy spent time in Austin and Casey in LA before coming together in 1995. They have earned numerous songwriting awards from Boston to Austin and have gained a following across the Atlantic as well. Their self-produced debut CD came out in 1995. Their second CD “Minnesota” was produced by Lloyd Maines (of Dixie Chicks fame) in Austin, TX. Their 4th CD is due out in 2011.
