Wild Tinderbox

Wild Tinderbox is a three piece rock band hailing from Austin, Texas. Influences aplenty, the band base their sound on a collection of vast genres such as 70's classic rock, 90's alternative rock, Chicago and Texas blues, traditional punk rock and dashes of other modern day overtones.

All three members come from distinct and different backgrounds. The members of the band include:

Jay Ziegler - guitars/vocals
Mike Prosser - bass guitar
Roger Steadman - drums

Jay hails from Boston, via Florida, with time spent in Chicago. Crafting his guitar skills, Austin has become home for his beloved guitars.

Mike hails from the Columbia, South Carolina area, but has called Austin his home the past decade and very much loves playing his bass and keeping the thunder alive.

Roger hails from Shreveport, Louisiana and brings a multitude of drumming experience performing in many genres and bands, from punk to blues to everything in between.

Loud. Melodic. Raw. Wild Tinderbox as a whole is a sonic force to be reckoned with. 

The band's songs contain messages of peace, personal motivation, battles in helicopters, intergalactic races, surfing down active volcanoes, warnings regarding the evil that men do, and other assorted topics. At the end of it all, Wild Tinderbox has but one mission: to rock the nation and expand as far as possible, both musically and internationally.
