Wild Abandon was born in the Rocky Mountains. Singer-song writer Dan MacKinnon on a week sybaritism, came back to Calgary with a bee in his ear. The name started as an attitude, but evolved into music.
Former drummer for Calgary bands such as the Dudes (recording This Guys The Limit, in Calgary's Rock Central), the A-Team (beside that guy from Fubar, Troy), Falcon Hawk, Dojo WorkHorse, and guitar in The Stassi Quartet (with former Primrod Garret McClure).
Wild Abandon is known for fun time rock shows. His style is a passionate Lou Barlow meets MeatLoaf, Guided by Robert Pollard tall rock style. Guitar, drums, and keyboards.
