Steve Wildesmith and the bRoKN sLeEP put on a killer set last night at the Rainbow, alas and woe only a mere 25 people were there to get in on some cool tunes. The performance was easy to the ears and the songs melodic yet sometimes a little quirky, harmonies were in abundance,. Shame they played to so few. It seems Steve only peeks his head out once every 4 or 5 months so keep your eyes and ears open for the next go round.
The group consists of Steve Wildesmith lead vocal and guitar, Blair Hogan on Guitar and doing backing vocals, Mike St Jean on Drums,and backing vocals and Alex Mastenardi on the Bass. Steve has gathered a line-up of seasoned players who play in many other bands from Amanda Rheume to Eppiphane to Brock Zenman and various Jazz ensebles.

Unstable World a 2 song promo CD released indie 2007 and created to see if it would be worth doing a full length disc later. Apparently it was.

Bio
I am Steve Wildesmith. Perhaps a tunesmith depending on your taste. I have a jagged history of writing for myself and sometimes others. Covers of my songs have been performed by the likes of The Jetsons, The FALL, and Target 21 none of whom I asked to do so.
Blair, Alex, and Mike are my associates musicians. They are 19 to 24 year old hand picked up and coming journeymen who bring a fresh playing style to the songs. That's a good thing.
