"Wild Ones"

Wild Ones was voted 4th Best New Band in Willamette
Week’s May 2011 issue showcasing the top twenty-five
bands in Portland. - Willamette Week "Best New Band" 2011

"Wild Ones"

“Wild Ones is the newest project from Danielle Sullivan
and Thomas Himes. You’re A Winner teems with
careful pop melodies that are perfectly ironed down by
Sullivan’s captivating coo. Synthy keys careen around
the unbearably smooth beats sneaking from Andy
Parker’s drum kit on the track “Forever Jam”, which
presses your body to dance lest the song passes you
by, while the naptime track “Pacific” takes you into a
daydream of coastline sunrises. Overall, I might call it
perfect. I can’t wait to see what these Wild Ones have
in store for us next.” - Mike Harper, The Deli Magazine, April 2011

"Wild Ones"

“Wild Ones, fronted by golden-voiced singer/dance
machine Danielle Sullivan, made its room shaking
debut at the Woods, playing all of its debuted EP,
You’re a Winner, and a brand new track to boot. The
Verdict? Sullivan is still one of Portland’s strongest
singers; Andy Parker is a machine: and the show
changed the rankings on at least two Best New Band
ballots.” - Casey Jarman, Willamette Week, February 2011

Bio

Danielle Sullivan and Thomas Himes formed
Wild Ones in the fall of 2009. The Portland based
synth-pop duo started with a handful of bedroom
recordings but quickly evolved to include multi-
instrumentalists Clayton Knapp, Nick Vicario, and
drummer Andy Parker. Knapp and Vicario
simultaneously function as the band’s recording
engineers. The group self-released their debut EP
“You’re a Winner” in Fall 2011 and just released a
single ,“Need It All”, in July 2011. The five piece is
currently working on a full length record due out
in Summer 2012.
