Will Bowen

Northeast Ohio-based singer/songwriter Will Bowen has impressed music industry executives since he burst onto the scene just as he was graduating from high school in 2004. Having released two albums on his own, Bowen signed a publishing deal with Pure Tone Music, run by former Arista and Epic Records VP Pete Ganbarg. The deal allowed Bowen the opportunity to create music with some of the top songwriters in the industry. While his catalog is still being pitched to various recording artists, Bowen has taken three of the more recent tracks and packaged them in a new self-titled EP produced by Michael Seifert of Ante Up Audio. Deferring college to focus on songwriting has given Bowen the chance to mature as a person and as a songwriter at the same time, and the three songs on the new EP are proof of that. There is a depth to his lyrics and a harder edge to his music that has not been evident in previous efforts. His voice is distinctively gritty and emotive, and Bowen sings about love and heartbreak like someone twice his age. Bowen has had the support of Cleveland powerhouse radio station Q104, whose management and staff have been spinning his music, sponsoring his shows and inviting him to take part in their events.
