"Late Nite @ Ball State"

Students said that they really enjoyed listening to Will. I have also had several students approach me and said that they really like him and are anxiously awaiting his emails.
I hope that Will enjoyed his time in Muncie. We hope that we have Will come back again next school year!

Have a great day!

Bio

Northeast Ohio-based singer/songwriter Will Bowen has impressed music industry executives since he burst onto the scene just as he was graduating from high school in 2004. Having released two albums on his own, Bowen signed a publishing deal with Pure Tone Music, run by former Arista and Epic Records VP Pete Ganbarg. The deal allowed Bowen the opportunity to create music with some of the top songwriters in the industry. While his catalog is still being pitched to various recording artists, Bowen has taken three of the more recent tracks and packaged them in a new self-titled EP produced by Michael Seifert of Ante Up Audio. Deferring college to focus on songwriting has given Bowen the chance to mature as a person and as a songwriter at the same time, and the three songs on the new EP are proof of that. There is a depth to his lyrics and a harder edge to his music that has not been evident in previous efforts. His voice is distinctively gritty and emotive, and Bowen sings about love and heartbreak like someone twice his age. Bowen has had the support of Cleveland powerhouse radio station Q104, whose management and staff have been spinning his music, sponsoring his shows and inviting him to take part in their events. Program Director Allan Fee is one of Bowen’s believers. “Will Bowen is a young artist who will soon be heard on radios and stereos everywhere,” says Fee. “He writes catchy pop/rock songs that are accessible to everyone and delivers them with an intense passion that I haven’t heard in years.” In his young career, Bowen has supported The Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, The Counting Crows, Edwin McCain, Marc Broussard, Everclear, Better than Ezra and more. “On a radio station gig in the backyard of a winning listener I encountered a great new songwriting talent in Will Bowen. People at this barbecue stopped what they were doing and committed to listening to this great young talent. His command of this audience and heartfelt singing really surprised me. I look forward with great interest in the development of his songwriting talent and his progress as a performer. You will be hearing from him for a long time.”—Edwin McCain (Platinum Recording artist, “I’ll Be”, “I Could Not Ask For More”)
