"In The Hands of The Fans: August/September 2014"

Folk/rock artist Will Duvall has also already had a multitude of success. He established himself in the NYC music scene after graduating from Wheaton Conservatory in Chicago, recording his first album ‘Nighbirds’ with producer Jordan Brown. The release of the record enabled Will to tour extensively across the US and in London, UK, including a performance at the 50th Anniversary celebration of Bob Dylan’s first showcase in the city. Returning to working with Jordan Brown, Will has begun work on his second full-length album, and his current single ‘Stay’ is indicative of what fans can expect from the project. Acoustic-based and led by Will’s smooth and velvety vocals, it taps into the emotions of a man desperately trying to save a failing relationship. It’s a rare moment of quiet in this ever-changing world. - For the Country Record

Feeling a bit camera shy

Will Duvall is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma which probably accounts for the folk influence that you can find in many of the songs. He moved to Chicago and studied guitar at Wheaton conservatory while continuing to build his sound and fan base. Recently he has moved to Washington DC and is quickly gaining popularity there as well as in the NYC and Philadelphia areas.

Will's music is not your typicial pop/rock sound. Although the music and choruses are very catchy there is a strong underlying acoustic presence to his writing style. His voice and his lyrics offer you an personal look at the heart and soul of each of his songs as he invites you on the quest for finding hope in the failures and successes in love.

Some influences are U2, John Mayer, Oasis, Wilco, Brad Paisley, the Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, and Death Cab for Cutie.
