This particular song is about cheating. Most of my songs are pretty abstract, and are not always based off of a full experience of mine. A friend of mine had been cheated on by his girlfriend, and I was with a group of guys talking about it, and one guy was adamant he would kill his girlfriend and the guy she cheated with. I sort of tried to reason with him about it, but that’s otherwise. So I thought hey let me write a song about when someone cheated on me. So the song tells a story a made up in my head. This guy, me as William Night, gets cheated on, gets a gun, and threatens to kill his wife, who cheated on him. They get into a car, her at gun point, and he is debating whether or not to kill her. Before he can decide she grabs the wheel and the Cadillac they are driving, my favorite car brand by the way, crashes and she dies, but the guy does not. It a karma payback song. - AVALiveRadio
Music business…
I like the business. It provides lots of jobs. People say it is too competitive, and I understand that, but I also think it’s big enough for everyone to have a place if they actually work hard, and are good at what they do. People are just kind of lazy, and like to complain a lot. I don’t know if I am a fan of how digital everything is becoming with all the streaming services. I think that streaming may be the best alternative however to combat music piracy. It’s tough when you are paying for college, studio, equipment, and promo and making nothing in return so you have to have a job in order to pay for these expenses. That is the boat I am still in. However because I made these initial sacrifices and investments, and kept with it. I am now reaping some rewards, I mean, I made it on here right? It’s all about Persistence, Perseverance, and Patience for me. - American Pride Magazine

William Night is a singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. His unique sound, and style is a melodic blend of electronic Pop, groovy Blues, soulful R&B, and driving lyric driven Hip-Hop ignited by his impassioned lyrics. (A mash of influences John Mayer, meets Justin Timberlake, meets Ed Sheeran) At the age of nineteen William Night amassed over two hundred written songs, and won runner up on the Song of The Year online songwriting competition, his first time entering.He has been performing since he was four years old. He has played shows in multiple states, and in his hometown of Nashville Tennessee at the historic BB King's Blues Bar, Exit Inn, Cafe CoCo's, and The Commodore Grille. During live performances he styles himself as a one man band, his pop and hip-hop fueled records being recreated on the spot via his guitar, beat boxing, voice, and an RC-30 Loop Pedal.
His first EP, Live From the Second Floor Pt.1, was released on soundcloud, spotify, and itunes in October of 2015. His lead single, Cadi Crash, off of part two of his ep, set to be released in Spring of 2016, has been featured on numerous radio stations including AVALiveRadio, DaGr8fm, BWDRadio, and TrendCityRadioShow. Cadi Crash also climbed to number 16 on TrendCityRadios top 20 indie countdown the first week it aired on TrendCityRadioShow. It climbed to Number ten it's second week as well, and is continuing to climb forward. William Night has also had interviews with AVALiveRadio and DaGr8fm, and has had an article for Cadi Crash posted on American Pride Magazine. He is set to be apart of AVALiveRadio's event Live Streaming in 2016 in February and March of 2015. He resides in Nashville Tennessee where he performs and continues his musical work.
