"Mike Trampe TV - (William Rose II - Keep It Real)"

Something fresh from 17 year old emcee William Rose. - Mike Trampe TV

"Shook One Music - (William Rose II - Keep It Real)"

This track, "Keep It Real" brings a genuine mix of high caliber lyrics alongside an instrumental that bangs just as hard. The spacey chops, and snappy snares create an atmosphere that I really enjoyed. 17 years old, and reigning from Baltimore, Maryland William Rose seems to be on the right path. I love hearing instrumentals like these, with ingenious choice of samples, and a catchy melody. - Shook One Music

"A Long Way To Go" is a song that examines the life of William, who's slowly coming into manhood while trying to pursue a music career and make enough cash so he'll never have to work another day in his life.

The motivation behind this song was his everyday schedule which consists of him going to school, coming home, writing and then going to work.

Bio

William Rose II was born on September 11th, 1996. His father being a singer and a jazz musician began teaching him about rhythm at a very young age.  As a result of this, William’s first love became a five-piece drum set and a pair of sticks. At the age of five, William began drumming for several hours a day non-stop.  Eventually he would enroll into his elementary school’s music program and outshine all of the other students that were his age because of his previous experience. Around this time William also discovered what some would call “The foundation of Hip-Hop music”. Tupac, Biggie and all of the others soon became favorites for William as he started to discover something new for himself. A new way of life. After falling in love with the nostalgic feeling of Golden Era Hip-Hop, William began to write rhymes for himself. Soon after, William began battling his classmates and winning majority of the time. He started to develop his style throughout his middle school years based on mainstream Hip-Hop artists from the 90’s. After a while he lost interest, until he discovered an artist by the name of Big L who was known throughout the underground Hip-Hop community as one of the greatest lyricists of all time. This inspired William to change his style and start taking his music career seriously. Once William graduated from middle school, he removed his T.V. and all other distractions from his room and began to write. He’d come home from school, finish his homework and then write for hours upon a time trying to express himself through his lyrics. During the winter of his Junior year, William gained access to recording equipment from a friend of his. This allowed him to discover his strengths and weaknesses when it came to his voice and delivery. After several recording sessions William began to market his music. He’s been posted on several Hip-Hop blogs, received radio air-play and is building up a fan base on the internet and in his local area. After William graduated from High School, he happened to encounter a Hip-Hop group named the CREATORS that embodied the same Ideologies as himself. After meeting up with the group and recording, he knew the group was where he belonged.
