When it comes to the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the talent is simply unlimited.
However in a growing effort to leave no one out, the Gospel Treasure Search was created. Numerous individuals competed in this talent competition to be named the top treasure. In the end, one young man rose to the top. Meet Mr. William Demps. This young man was very deserving of the award and now has much to look forward to, including a number of prizes.

Minister William B. Demps, Jr., affectionately called "B" has been a Kingdom builder in the Body of Christ for a long time. Even as a child, his musical gift was apparent enough to gain the respect of his peers and adults as well. He received the gifting of the Holy Spirit early during his elementary school years, and his anointing became evident in his singing. When William accepted his calling into the Word ministry at the age of fourteen years, it came as no surprise to the discerning saints. This young man was clearly a chosen vessel, equipped for powerful praise. Minister William Demps is the son of Pastor William B. Demps, Sr. and Co-Pastor Deborah Demps, and is well known throughout Seattle and the Greater Puget Sound gospel music community. On the national level, he has collaborated with and/or shared the stage with the following recording artists: Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, "Ki Ki" Sheard, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Ricky Dillard, Donald Lawrence, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Dawkins & Dawkins, Elektra recording artist, "Joonie" and the late Minister Olanda Draper. William Demps has also graced the stages of phenomenal events such as the National COGIC AIMS CONVENTION, West Coast Gospel Music Conference, and was a finalist for the regional Gospel Stellar Awards Star Search.
William is anointed to minister praises in song and lead you into true worship. John 4:24 states, "God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him "in spirit and in truth". This scripture is at the heart of Minister Demps. He endeavors not only to minister in song, but also to live a life that is reflective of the songs they are presenting. He strives to transcend beyond entertaining into an engaging experience with God. He effectively takes the listener beyond thanksgiving and praising and into the heart of a worship experience.
Minister William Demps is in preparation to release his debut CD project. He has truly experienced God's anointed gifting in composing and creating songs. In concert, his music presentation reveals a heart committed to glorifying God and edifying all people. Live or recorded, however, you will experience excellence from Minister William Demps.
