WILLIAM J.
The music of William J. is a combination of many different vibes and feelings. Theyll give you a sound that will satisfy a fan of 50 Cent, while at the same time pleasing Creed or Foo Fighters fan. Their influences come from the old school of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tom Petty, to the new school of today including Incubus, Dr. Dre, and Eminem.
William J. (William J. Swaney) was born in Sacramento, CA on October 3, 1983. He was born into a family of musicians. Williams mother (Lori Sassone) began as a drummer back in the 60s, and by the age of 13 was a drum teacher in south Chicago, Illinois. Williams grandma (Doreen Sassone) and Uncle (Patrick Sassone) were also musicians in the 1960s and 1970s in a band that had major label interest named Societys Children. So everyone could tell that William would have a knack for music, but it was never shown until just a few years ago.
William J. is still working their first project and everything is coming along very smoothly. It should be finished by the start of the year. Band members are Nameless on guitar, Nameless on Bass,Johnny Navarette on percussion, and William J. Swaney on vocals. Together they blow the audience away time after time. As of now, the band is seeking a record deal, and playing shows anywhere possible so they can achieve their dreams. William is also writing and producing some other artists, as well as, recording his own hip-hop music. So wherever you go, look out, because William J. is coming to your town and is going to change your life.
