"Neil Young influences area artists"

December 9, 2005 - Stop by Creevy's on the Atlantis TONIGHT and check-out Bill Stasse. This one man band plays beautiful acoustic rock on vintage instruments. He plays Neil Young tunes, and he plays them well. Request "Needle and the Damage Done" and all your wildest dreams will come true... I swear! - The Islander/After Dark

Currently in the makings... stay tuned!

As veteran Guitarist & a Solo Performer for the past 12 years, I have worked hard in two opposite directions... First: Developing a network of Jersey Shore Venues which helps keep me connected to what people like to listen to while keeping my guitar & vocal abilities sharp. Most of the evening is spent performing "cover songs" ranging from the 50s through to some of today's popular songs. I managed to work my way into upper scale restaurants & private parties where I have the opportunity to showcase my original compositions. Second: This is where I am able to focus on songwriting... whether it is a Guitar Instrumental or a Song with lyrics & music, I've developed strong work ethics attempting to capture the emotions music is supposed to capture.
There is no set genre' that describes what I do... music is different to everyone & must be treated that way. I am not a performer that can be placed in a "Dance Club" venue but, I am able to pull off some difficult music with just my guitar & voice.
Influenced by the Rock Guitar Legends of the 60s & 70s such as Hendrix, Clapton, BB King, Chet Atkins, Duane Allman, Jeff Beck, etc. I was also taken by the great Singer/SongWriters like James Taylor, Paul Simon, Harry Chapin,Van Morrison, Carol King, etc. But, I never restricted myself to just popular music... while I spent most of my time daydreaming in High School, I took advantage of the school's music program studying Theory & Harmony, Composition and managed to earn an understanding of instrument placement within a song.
