Bio

William Kimball is a Juno Beach, Florida native -- both a surfer and singer/songwriter, he grew up surfing local beaches and orchestrating songs in his head while out on the surf break. Most of his inspiration today still comes from the ocean.
William Kimball was brought into the world of music by his mother, who would sing while driving the car, or crank records on her Zenith tube stereo. William would put on The Police's Outlandos d'Amour album, and sing over and over to "So Lonely" and "Roxanne." It came with no lessons, just an ear and an open channel.

Starting off as a rapper in the early 90s, William and Scott Weiser, of Jekyl and Hyde, would play local parties and clubs around Jupiter, Florida. William then went into the punk world, first forming the band Mad Exploding Flowers, and then started Hit$how, which has been one of Jupiter's longest running bands. Now, William Kimball and the Hit$how, whose members are Virgil Price, Greg Hansen, Iain Yeakle and Neil Ashley, play acoustic rock with strong melodies and upbeat rhythms.

"Music is more than making it, it makes you," he says.
