I am a musician. I started learning to play the guitar when I was 13 years old and have never associated myself with any particular genre. I've never been into covers and have set out, since I started, to develop my own style. I like doing things differently. I play songs on the ukulele that sound like they were written for the electric guitar. Songs on the banjo that sound like they should be played by an alternative band. Songs on the guitar that bring out the depth of music and what it can be. All the training I have received has been in the field of jazz which adds an interesting twist to the style that I am developing. If I were to name the genre I play, it would be unclassifiable. I have passion for talent, technique, and theory, but never, never, never at the expense of putting on a great show.
