SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA - This weekend is your chance to listen to a new Suwannee County band, William Scott and Silverado. This four-piece band will be playing two nights this weekend, Friday and Saturday Jan. 9-10, at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park’s Music Hall.
Playing a variety of modern and classic country, Silverado also plays classic and modern rock n’ roll.
The band members are William Scott, lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Rick Randlett, lead guitar and vocals; Ricky Mullins, bass and vocals and Jamie Ganote, percussion and vocals.
The brainchild of Scott and Ganote, the band formed in 2008. Scott and Ganote wanted to start fresh after a stint with another band and soon found former band mate Mullins was available. Before long, well established musician Randlett, who holds a degree in music education, was onboard to round out Silverado.
The band has a unique sound due to Scott’s drive to be different after years of playing in various bands. The band is seasoned in tear jerkers, hard rock and classic and modern country and can keep you on the dance floor or singing along with songs you all know. You can expect the unexpected from this new band, along with lots of music you already know! You never know what to expect!

Bio

SILVERADO was created in October of 2008. Founding members William Scott and Jamie Ganote had previously played together with a local "bar" band and were ready to start something "new" and "fresh". Taking everything that the two of them had learned over the years playing with different bands in regards to style, music, gimmicks, etc., the duo wanted to bring back the fun of the 80's and 90's honkytonk music, add some good old Southern Rock, a touch of the Blues and some Rock N' Roll then mix it up with what they love the most, entertainment. After some time off in 2008, the duo started searching for the "right combination" of musicians to complete the project. Luckily, former bandmate and established Bassist, Ricky Mullins had become available. Ricky was eager to join the new project and has become a vital part of the band. Now the only part left was the position of Lead Guitarist. The trio decided that it was time to find more than just the average "strummer" and "beer joint picker." A TRUE guitarist was needed for what the trio had planned. Someone not afraid of a challenge in regards to new music and old. Enter, Rick Randlett. The "Blues Man" himself is a schooled guitarist with a degree in music education. Ricks talents go beyond that of your everyday guitar player. He not only plays Lead, but he also plays Dobro, Slide, Pedal Steele, Banjo and many more! He owns his very own recording studio and is a sound and lighting engineer!

SILVERADO is working hard to gain fans in the immediate area of Live Oak and Suwannee County Florida. They hope, in time, that their "area" will span all over Florida and the South Eastern U.S. Only time will tell.
