In the borough of Queens was born a King. A King of a dying breed, but just because he was a King did not mean he had everything. The crown was given to protect the Dome of the King, but he still had to grow & experience & obtain everything. To observe, learn, act & love. Those were the messages given from above.

Awakening to this world is more than a bit much. The whole city could see young Contraband’s life was more than hard enough. But he was tough, such as a diamond in the rough. In the dirt he was stuck, in the hole in which he dug. Not shining as bright, “too busy” having “fun”. Sweeping all of his responsibilities under the rug. In the darkness he lived, with the sun buried within. The nights were cold & so were his e-motions. The streets were hot & he burned with devotion. Loyal to the bone to the wrong energy, he faced many tragedies. Friends became enemies & blood did not mean family.

Now all alone, having to protect the KingsDome. He began to roam & look for “home”. Above&Below, Within&Without, Willie moved many times as the years rolled out. Rooted outside the U.S.A with a social rebel of a Grandmother & a true Contrabando of a Grandfather, Willie unconsciously brought those traits with him along on his journey throughout the states.

Today, Contraband is on the go knowing that home is within the soul. Smuggling peace, love & light on every road. Music is merely one of the many tools used by this young creator to imbed, express & communicate his universal language… Willie Contraband; The King from Queens is here to share his KingDome with you & the world. Here to show you a life Beyond Duality, a life beyond what you know. && to show you that EVERYTHING comes from NOTHING.
