Album NotesWillie McClain is a multi talented singer/songwriter/musician/producer who began music 1967 in Memphis Tennessee. 

Willie's early accomplishments include recording a record titled "HANKY PANKY" with the DEL-RAYS, performed with such artists as CURTIS MAYFIELD and the IMPRESSIONS, OLLIE NIGHTINGALE, BAR-KAYS, LITTLE RICHARD and the MAD LADS. Produced and co-wrote for several vocal groups on ACTIVE RECORDS such as, SWEET AND INNOCENCE, whose record "YOU CRY LOVE" was in the top ten within the southern tri-state area. Other groups produced were FIRST COMPANY and THE EPICS. 

Willie performed with the FIRST COMPANY BAND, recorded two records, one of which was highly considered by UNITED ARTIST. FIRST COMPANY BAND performed with such artists as: JIMMIE HART, ATLANTIC STAR, SOUL CHILDREN, RIGHT COMMBINATION, DAVID RUFFIN, THE MAD LADS, and RUFUS THOMAS.

Willie also produced and/or co-produced a total of four(4) records for Michael Records; fourteen songs on himself of which two(2) were used to release a single.

Willie released three(3) Christmas projects; co-developed two rap artists and one R&B artist who's projects were released. 

In 2000 Willie wrote "WHEN WILL THE VIOLENCE END", a pop song addressing the current times of violence in the country. "WHEN WILL THE VIOLENCE END" was use in a play called Smiling Through the Tears. 

Willie also co-wrote several songs with LEON GUEST,a male vocalist who sounds very similar to Luther Vandross.
