Biography

Everett?? Can anything good come out of Everett?? Being a long-time resident of this Seattle suburb, Willie Will is determined to make this happen. Far from newcomer status, Willie Will has been writing, producing and performing music for 17 years....and counting. As a child, Will began his musical career writing lyrics for and performing with his group, Pop Heavenly and the Heavenly Boyz (P.H.B.), which consisted of his four brothers and his father along with himself. Nicknamed "the Gentlemen of Rap", P.H.B. crossed cultural and generational boundaries with their family-oriented message of positivity and hope amidst a dying world. During the 10 years that the group was active, Pops and the Boyz toured the country a number of times, performing in countless major cities as the opening act for many famed entertainers. This gave Willie the experience, foundation and professionalism that he'd take with him throughout his career. Coined as the main writer of the group, he also sharply developed as a lyricist, receiving accolades from numerous noted personalities such as Ben Vereen, Jesse Jackson, Kirk Franklin and Treach of the rap group Naughty By Nature to name a few. After the break-up of Pop Heavenly and the Heavenly Boyz in early 2000, Willie Will decided to trade in his flashy suits of the group for jeans and boots and take to the streets of Seattle, giving birth to his solo hip hop career. With street credibility and mass appeal combined with professionalism, universality and of ourse....talent, this multi-faceted MC continues to captivate a vast array of audiences ranging from white-collar executives and city officials to street corner thugs and the like. Fueled by a solid foundation and belief in God, Willie's desire to see lives impacted by his music ignites his passion to deliver his street-edged rhymes over cutting egde beats, soaring him over the competition. Look for Willie Will in the near future......to take the music industry by storm!!!! THE WORKS...... In the four short years of his solo career, Willie Will has indefinitely exceeded all expectations. In October of 2000, he dropped his first solo release, "The Rhythm and Wisdom System", selling over 1500 units out of his trunk on the streets of Seattle's metropolitan area. In 2001, the CD created a buzz that led to airplay on Seattle's number one top 40 radio station, KUBE 93 FM. The radio spins opened the door for countless performances in the city's premier nightclubs, rap concerts, talent shows, block parties, high schools, churches, juvenile detention centers and some of Seattle's major music venues. In 2003, Willie Will released his second independent CD, "Premeditated Worda", which has sold over 1,000 copies to date in local stores and on the streets. The album got him a nomination for best rap artist at the 2003 NorthWest Music Awards, sponsored by Seattle's number one gospel music station, C 89 FM. It also brought him more radio airplay by KUBE 93 and C 89, local television exposure on a number of occasions, and most recently, a tour throughout the South opening for some major names in hip hop music. In March of 2006, Willie Will dropped his fourth release, the highly-anticipated "America's Most Needed". This album has sold over 4,000 copies to date, and the numbers keep rising. With thought-provoking lyrics and remarkable stage presence, it is no wonder why Willie Will is undoubtedly the "next big thing" to come out of Seattle. RHYME & REASON...... In comparison to the rewards that Willie has his heart set on, fame appears to be a miniscule entity while fortune presents itself as a fleeting shadow. Willie Will recently finished a hip hop concert tour with other artists where he saw thousands of young people touched, impacted and even changed by his music. Beyond just being an entertainer, the 27-year old MC hopes to restore hope to this generation by encouraging and empowering his listeners to change their perspectives and attitudes toward life, eventually resulting in a changed life. And all this by boogeying to bangin' beats!! He presents his real life testimonies along with practical methods to start the journey a better life. Willie Will's music represents real life in a way that hasn't been done yet. Prepare for a revolution through revelation!!!!!

Lyrics

Changed Man

Written By: Willie Will

verse 1:
The life I was leadin', fights I would be in, livin' mad trife spendin' nights with the demons/ Thoughts I was thinkin', drinks I was drinkin', things I did in secret, lifestyle was stinkin'/ Cheatin' on my girlfriend, caught up in the whirlwind, sippin' MD 20/20 til I'm hurlin'/ Nights in the club, nights with the thugs, nights gettin' buzzed, nights with the drugs/ Knife hits I'm bugged, pipes, clips and blunts, runnin' up on mad kids like "Stick'em up"/ Clothes and the jewelry, bros. gettin' boodie, shows and the groupies soaked in jacuzzis/ the way I was walkin', the way I was talkin', day after day I was blazin' and sparkin'/ basically Godless, crazy and heartless, I prayed to be saved cuz my ways were just garbage.

Chorus:
I been livin' my life on a whim now I only depend on Him/ cuz I'm a Changed- a changed a changed man, I'm a changed a changed a changed man/ No need to hustle on the block cuz I know my salvation's on lock/ Cuz I'm a changed a changed a changed man... Hey!

verse 2:
The nights I was kickin' it, people I would kick it with, rippin'em off, flippin'em off cuz really I'm livin' ridiculous/ Dough that I was spendin', hoes I thought I was pimpin', a pitiful man with a pitiful plan to bone all of them women/ Stomp in all of my Timberlands, smokin' all of us in the van, spendin' them nights pickin' them fights, thinkin' it made me a bigger man/ Shut off my feelings, stuff I was stealin', plus when I let up on the clutch then I was peelin'/ Off to the weed spot, hide when I see cops, don't want mama to know so I'm rockin' the Visine drops/Heart plottin' evil, thought I was lethal, down to let off on anyone tryna throw darts at my ego/ Mind sittin' in a cell, time that I spent in jail, mad at the world cuz none of them cats would put up on my bail/ the things that was happenin', lives I was damagin', that's my old life and I never want it back again

Chorus

verse 3:
Yo, I'm thru with producing the fruitless deeds of darkness, I planted seeds in the garden of garbage now I'm reaping the harvest/ Keeping the godless actions far from my feet where I'm walking, demons is talkin' sweet but I keep Jesus bein' my target/ Now I preach to the walking dead, keepin' my focus while people oppose us like Moses when he parted the Red/ Notice the people gone ahead when He made the sea split, it was God that led His people out of slavery/ Get your brain to see how they was free, in a way that's me shakin' and breakin' takin' off everything that's chainin' me/ Never again will I be enveloped in sin, now I'm tellin' you men and women that it's fun for a minute/ But it isn't worth the destruction it's givin' to anyone that is willin' to dibble and dabble in sin til it tramples/ Your mind, body and soul, it's a spiritual battle, those that are wise will treat this serious, I speak from experience.

Chorus

Shine

Written By: Willie Will

Chorus:
If I shine, you shine and everybody shine, we light the world one life at a time/ Cuz people need the light (hey) 4x

verse 1:
Out the woodwork (where did he come from) out the hood (JERZ) rearranged my priorities now it's Christ that I put first/ Cuz nowadays the truth of God isn't found, since I've been entrusted with it, I refuse to water it down/ And have the nerve to call it my sound (truth) I'm barkin' it loud instead of crawlin' around all over town/ Tryna hide the light, no shinin' bright, that defeats the purpose of havin' it, that's the reason I rhyme for Christ/ Why would I wanna blend in with the darkness like life is better in sin livin' godless?/ You can ask the homie R-Swift, reject Christ at your own risk but know this without Him life is hopeless/ Without the mind of Christ as the guiding light to guide your life then the night will blind your sight/ And since God is light, I'mma hold Him high and bright and never compromise, aiight?

Chorus

The truth is men love their dark ways, they'd rather worship themselves and all they possessions instead of givin' God praise/ The light came and walked on the earth with the mission of presentin' men and women with a different way of livin'/ But men and women didn't get it, they loved they sinnin'--the Light came but the darkness didn't comprehend it/ Some knew they life didn't truly make sense and they needed the light for they life's illumination/ And to as many that would believe He gave the right to receive the Light of the world which is Jesus the Christ/ After I believed then received then He breathed in my life, shinin' thru me now I stand as a beacon of light/ to those seekin' the light, that's the reason I speak in the mic (without a doubt) I'm like a candle when the power's out/ And that's definitely one to shout about, the lilght is shinin' all on your court to keep you from goin' out of bounds

Chorus

The sun is 93 million miles from us in distance, isn't it crazy how daily it's presence is never missin'/ But it's in position to glisten, it's comfortable to live in, listen I'll show you how light is the physical form of comprehension/ You've heard the term, "I don't like bein' left in the dark", what he means is, "I don't like not knowin' what's goin' on"/ You've also heard the term, "Let me shed light on your situation", what he means is, "Let me help you understand what you're facin'/ So if I'm the light, thru me you understand life, those livin' in darkness cannot see they livin' trife/ Walkin' in darkness, they don't know when the road ends, you could be walkin' towards a cliff with your eyes wide open/ Runnin' into stuff, you didn't know it was there, that's life in darkness, but when the light is sparkin' then you're seein' clear/ And at that point you understand what surrounds you, if you had any sense about you, you'd turn around...(oooh)

Chorus

Hands Up

Written By: Willie Will

Chorus:
Hands Up-put'em up in the sky, now we buildin'-Hands Up-everybody everywhere, we God's children-Hands Up-yeah, we comin' hard from a squad, y'all better put your hands up, rep the Son of God

verse 1:
It's the return of the king to bring life to a dying generation, it's trife, abomination of desolation is on this nation/ Makin' it crack, facin' the fact of a major attack, that's the reason I'm takin' it back to what's real/ Watchin' blood spill on the corners where thugs kill, but I'm a light to the dark, that's why they love Will/ But they don't understand what illumination's about, thinkin' there's 8 different routes to God but I'm takin' em out/ One by one til nothing's left but the light of the Son, life has begun, we're free from religion/ Visions of Heaven soak in, I'm watchin' the clouds open, I'm hopin' the angels see me, no need for bein' outspoken/ It's real, feel the spirit of Caleb and Josh when I'm takin' the Promised Land with an army, praying to God/ While you bein' indebted to your corny theoretics, I speak prophetic over the instrumental as if Jesus said it

Chorus

verse 2:
I damage the mic with the passion of Christ for these lost souls, God knows how I use my actual life/ To relate to the people, it ain't easy bein' on Front Street, but I can't help but to notice your pain and it runs deep/ Pure in my veins, but as a man of God I have to walk the streets in camoflage ready for war but never camoflage/ My lifestyle, pal, makin' it blend with society, we're embarkin' upon the end of a dying breed/ I'm the realest soldier, bust shots like Villanova, standin' strong in the illest culture, rep until it's over/ Steppin' on a venomous cobra cuz Genesis told us that he was tryin' to bruise the heel of the women, it's over/ Cuz of what Christ did on Calvary we already won, glory and honor to the Father and the Son/ But God isn't done, it's like another great awakening sparkin' a revolution thru revelation...take it in

Chorus

verse 3:
You see that I came back driven flippin' the script on wack livin', my mission is bein' a light, bringin' the sight to those who lack vision/ I stagger to take up my cross, haters tryin' hard to shatter and break up the incarnate ladder of Jacob/ The planet I shake up, no foundation, it's ground-breakin', no doubt, cuz now's the day of salvation/ The town's racin' just to see what's all the hoopla, the future generation is singin' "HALLELUJAH"/ God is doin' a new thing, my crew sings His praise, yeah, we keep it laced like shoestrings/ Seekin' His face daily, yo son, pour the Heeny out, time to be sober-minded becuz there's no rewindin'/ The time is fulfilled, me and my fam promise to build on the foundation, rhymin' that's ill and a gospel that's real/ Stand with the faith of Mark 11, the word of God is the hardest weapon, we're fightin' for souls...this is Armageddon

Chorus
