"Bohemian Jukebox - Bulls Head Moseley! Jan 8th 2012"

It’s only the second Sunday of 2012 but already solo acoustic act, Will Inns, is starting what will almost definitely be a big year for him if he continues on the way he’s going.

The Bulls Head is a buzz with anticipation on this Sunday night, as everyone enjoys the relaxed atmosphere the upstairs room has to offer. Tonight, Will Inns is one of four acts that will take to the stage, all of which are amazing acoustic folk acts.

Joe Williamson kicked off the night and WOW what a way to start off the evening. His unique voice and undeniable guitar skills were enough to send you into the amazing world his songs created. The small set he did was more than enough to leave the people in the room wondering what else he has to offer and what he would deliver given a longer set.

Next up was Ben Calvert, a talented man with some seriously amazing songwriting skills. No matter what he played you wanted to listen and get lost in the music. The highlight may have been the song he wrote about the crazy man with a monkey who is regularly seen around Kings Heath, a man who is definitely song worthy.

Will Inns was the third act of the evening and the youngest, but age didn’t stop him from being an audience favourite. With a mix of both covers and original material, it showcased what talent the youngster had whilst giving glimpses of what he could become. The stand out songs had to be his original track ‘Superhero’, as it really let you hear his voice for what it was. Along with ‘Superhero’, ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles and ‘Earthquake’ by Labrinth, were stand out covers of already brilliant songs.

The final act of the evening was Greg Smith, a stand in for Gwen Harrison who had, had to pull out of the show the day before. Although unprepared his songs were awesome and brilliantly written. Plus you couldn’t falter the banter he had with his friends in the audience between songs. It appeared as though he emptied the small room but enough people stuck around to see what he had to offer and it was good, slightly depressing at times, but still good.

"Up amd Coming: Will Inns"

This week we are featuring Will Inns; we have mentioned him, his current band and his previous band before. At the start of 2012, he was off to a fresh new start after The Artificial Day parted ways in December 2011, of which he was the lead singer and guitarist. A recent article in the “Up and Coming” series was based on his current band, Keep The Change.

Last Sunday, on January 8th 2012, Will was performing at The Bulls Head (Moseley) in Birmingham, United Kingdom, where he was performing alongside some other acts; Joe Williamson, Ben Calvert, and Greg Smith. All four acts provided excellent entertainment for the night and clearly made visible the talent they had to offer.

Although Will Inns was the youngest act of the night, at 18, he didn’t fail to impress anyone in the dark lighted room that possessed a friendly atmosphere. Will performed a mixture of both his own material and covers, all acoustically. A number of songs really impressed me; those been “Norgaard”, which is a cover of The Vaccines, “Superhero” which is one of his own songs which proved Will has plenty to offer as a talented musician, and “Lick Ya Down” which is a cover of Cover Drive.

CD’s with various covers and original tracks were available to buy on the night. That’s right, I bought a copy and listened to all the tracks as soon as I got home! The album has 9 tracks on it, most of which are excellent acoustic covers of famous artists, others are his own, brilliantly written material. Soon, you will be able to purchase the album online via email; we’ll let you know about this when it happens!

Don’t forget to check out Will on SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube or you can email his manager. Also, Will is unsigned so if you’re a record label or know of a record label who would be happy to sign Will, then click here to contact Sarah, his manager. You may want to book him for an event by clicking there as well!

We will be uploading some more videos of Will Inns to AllWhatsRock TV over the forthcoming days.

"We're supporting Will Inns and The Artifical Day"

Allow me to just start off with my apologies regarding the fact that I haven’t posted something new here in the past several days. And as you can imagine, a lot has happened in the music industry since. Due to the fact that I’ve been developing a new AllWhatsRock, I haven’t been able to cover all of that on here. However, when the new version of the site goes fully live, you should be expecting a whole lot more from us.

Anyway, this article will not cover what the mainstream rock bands are up to, but it will focus on one solo artist and one unsigned rock band from the UK who possess amazing talent. The solo artist goes by the name of Will Inns and he is also the frontman in the band we’ll be covering today, and they’re called The Artificial Day. And yes, we have wrote about them on here before! Will always produces amazing acoustic covers of songs and I must admit my ears do find them addicting.

Today I’ll be mainly focusing on Will Inns, who’s gifted with an amazing and powerful voice. Now that voice drives not only his own success, but also the success of The Artificial Day. A gig is lined up for this band at o2 Academy Birmingham on September 29th, so be there! However, the whole point of this article is to help Will Inns reach his target of 80 likes on his Facebook page by 26th September and if that don’t happen, the page goes down. Also, we are always happy when we notice that more people have listened to both Will’s solo produced songs and those produced by The Artificial Day. So all we are asking you to do is LIKE THIS PAGE and listen to songs on this SoundCloud profile and this SoundCloud profile. Show your support for amazing music from young talented artists and get listening!!!

In the time that Will has been writing his solo material, he has produced over ten original acoustic styles songs of which a hand full have been released as demo recordings by Will independently. Will is currently in the process of writing new material for his debut E.P which will be released this year.

Will Inns. A fresh faced acoustic act from the Midlands. Once he focused on being a band member but now he wants a chance to shine as an acoustic solo act.

Will has been playing guitar since the age of 12 and has never stopped since. Using Green Day and the Foo Fighters as his early inspiration for song writing, he created rock and punk inspired songs. However as he’s grown, so has his song writing style along with the inspiration he uses to create his music. Now he’s heavily influenced by the likes of Jason Mraz and Frank Turner.
