Bio

Instrumental acoustic guitar music is what I write, drawing influences from all over the world. A fair few people have described some of my music as progressive, which I’m inclined to agree with. I’m no Dream Theatre, but I love building it up and up, making the guitar sound like more than itself.
My single greatest influence is Antonio Forcione. But since then all sorts of guitarists have inspired me. From Michael Hedges to Eric Roche, through to Thomas Leeb and Tommy Emmannuel. But I also take a lot of inspiration from electronic music: from Sqaurepusher to Amon Tobin and a bit of Quantic. the Cinematic Orchestra is pretty genre-defying, but they’ve had a great effect on me. Can’t ignore orchestral and piano styles either, from the likes of Craig Armstrong and Ludovico Einaudi. Basically, everything I’ve heard affects everything I write some way.
