Will Noonan is an up-and-coming stand-up comic from Boston. He has a pretty impressive twitter that is one of the funniest and easiest to remember (@willnoonan) that I’ve seen. I was delighted to find out that he had a podcast as well. I gave it a listen and wrote down a summary of what he offers with some of my favorite moments.
I don’t usually notice the title of a comedian’s podcast since it always feels like a wasted opportunity for a joke. However, Will Noonan’s podcast, appropriately titled “High Pathetically with Will Noonan,” has a title worth remembering. It’s brilliant. It perfectly describes insecurities comedians always have, the drug problems that they refuse to give up, and the double meaning that shows the philosophical weight of a performer. It is a perfect title, the best I’ve ever seen.
Since we are already off to a good start I was excited to actually get to listen to what Will had to offer, and it was even more impressive than the title (this, as you can tell, I was abnormally impressed with).
The basic premise involves Will brining a tape recorder with him to all his different endeavors. This includes the softball league he’s in with other Boston comedians, clubs where he does his sets, and even on the road, where he shares some stories/rants while he’s driving. On the surface, you might think this is pedestrian, and with any old dolt it would be, but Will is a hilarious dude. Besides the laughter, you get something that is worth even more than that for a comedian looking to make a name and build an audience. You start to like him as a person. - America's Comedy

Boston Comedian Will Noonan was recently named a “2013 Comic to Watch” to by The Boston Globe Magazine.
He has been featured as a comic on MTV’s “FN MTV” and is regularly played on Sirius XM Radio’s comedy stations. He has also told a story on NPR's "This American Life".
He has also been seen on WBZ’s “Community Auditions”, as well as starring in a Staples product commercial, among many others.
His viral #standupshots (or stand up memes) have garnered MILLIONS of views on Reddit, imgur and TheChive.com connecting Will to an awesome Twitter following. His Podcast "High Pathetically with Will Noonan" is even listened to by over athousand people every week!
Will has proudly performed at many of New York and New England’s finest Comedy Clubs, Theaters, Casinos and Colleges.
He was the host of “The Lineup” on Tauntr.com and was previously a semi finalist in several comedy festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival and The Magners Comedy Festival.
Will started his career in New York City and was a weekend regular at The Underground Lounge, and performed often at The Broadway Comedy Club, The Knitting Factory and The New York Comedy Club. He is now based out of the Boston area.
