Willo Keys

Willo was born in Bogota, Colombia, surrounded by different musical influences. Throughout his childhood he was exposed to many different types of music and soon he was old enough to understand what course he wanted to follow in his life; becoming an accomplished instrumentalist and composer.


Having concentrated on studying Piano, Production and Music Composition, Willo has gone on to with a number of different independent artists as a Composer, Producer, Singer and Keyboardist over the past 15 years in Colombia, USA,  China, Thailand, Morocco and Indonesia. Motivated by the profound love for his career and his belief in music, he has visited different countries, learning from their musical cultures and styles.


2010 was a very special year for Willo with the selection of one of his original compositions for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest where he achieved a nomination in the Latin Category in New York.
Another price, his song DUENDE, part of his new album “HARAPAN”, was awarded first prize for best composition in the Latin category of the American Songwriting Awards 2014 and More recently, winner of the first price at the “FESTIVAL DE LA CANCION DE CALIFORNIA”as best song of the year 2015.


In addition to his music talents, producer and DJ, Willo’s passion for filmmaking has grown over the years, not only as an actor, but also in the fields of conceptualization, directing and post production. He has been involved in several productions in various roles, of which he has learned from immensely.


He is coming now with a new album, ELECTROLATIN, where he decided to put together the sounds of EDM gender in fusion with his latin routes and as a result, Willo Keys Electrolatin is a mix of unstoppable energy, passion and caribbean latin vibes that makes the audiences move.


Now everywhere he goes, Willo loves to meet new talents; to learn from them and their experiences. To build a friendships of dedicated artists who share the same passion… THE ART OF ENTERTAINMENT.
