Lyrics

Homeless Holy One

Written By: Willow Hale aka D. McHale

Now she's out on her own
with a cart for her home
and no mattress to sleep
and no real food to eat.

The voices came and they stayed
and drove the living away
now she's living alone
with no home of her own.

HOMELESS HOLY ONE
HOMELESS HOLY ONE
Have mercy on me.

Homeless one
lonely and cold
can't leave this world yet
until God says go.
Gotta keep going
no matter the weather
stay with the living
hoping things will get better.

HOMELESS HOLY ONE
HOMELESS HOLY ONE
Have mercy on me.

Crazy, never say crazy
just give what you can
to the lonely woman on the bridge
the HOMELESS HOLY ONE
who must live
on your mercies.
