"Orlando City Beat"

...one of the best alt-country bands I've heard in a very long while. WQ & The Diviners' gallop is characterized by loving detail and elegant restraint...a well-bred affair that echoes almost every great artist that defined the genre. - Orlando City Beat

"Tampa Tribune"

Will Quinlan turns raw emotion into rock poetry on “Navasota,” an album that is easily on par with the best of the Americana genre. It’s gritty, sorrowful, angry and ultimately triumphant – real life always sounds better with loud guitars. - Tampa Tribune

"MetroMix.com"

Navasota, the new full length release from Will Quinlan and The Diviners, is a loving eulogy to his late mother. With its crisp production, layered subtext and bitter sweet presentation, it brings to mind some of the country’s best Americana/Alt-Country music.  You can hear Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy, Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Gram Parsons in every song....much anticipated and well worth the wait. - MetroMix.com

Bio

Formed out of the ashes of Will Quinlan's seminal tampa bands Pagan Saints and Murder Creek, The Diviners carry forward the earnest folk rock aesthetic of the Saints while incorporating some of the more traditional country and bluegrass elements of Murder Creek resulting in a profoundly original take on contemporary americana.
Will and the Diviners are currently working toward completion of their follow up to 2008's highly praised "Navasota", which tied with Buddy Miller's release for #1 most added record on Americana reporting stations Dec '08.
