Only once in a lifetime do we run across a singer that is a triple threat. This artist is a dynamic Singer, songwriter, and performer who can provide the elegant sound of the soulful past and the rich tonality of our bright future. Not since the days of Marvin Gaye and Donnie Hathaway have we had a male artist that can captivate his audience and tune in every emotion from the first note to the last breath. Will Whitlock is such a singer. His style of music is categorized as "The Soul of Sacramento", a mesh of R&B urban-soul, gospel and jazz.
Born in Mississippi, Whitlock moved to New Jersey where he attended The School of Performing Arts. After graduating, he moved to Sacramento where he spent the next several years teaching voice, acting and modeling. He has worked with a number of artists. The list includes Giant Record’s Jade, Sway and King Tech (who host their own TV show on MTV), J Record’s Whitney Houston, vocal coach Adrian Anderson of Trinitee 5:7 (currently under the management of Mathew Knowles of Music World), EMI's De'angelo, Laface’s After 7 and Toni Braxton and finally, singer, actor, comedian and Oscar winner, Jamie Foxx.
With years of industry training under his belt, we feel it's time for the rest of the world to experience the power and healing of Will Whitlock.
