Formed in 2008, guitarists Jason Spencer and Joel Matthews, drummer Mike McGowan, bassist Drew Rambo, and vocalist Julian Garden all provide an adrenaline-invoking sound that distinguishes itself from all other bands reeking of tedium. Wilson's debut album "Standing on the Reel" tells the story of the enigmatic Ranger Mudd with captivating lyrics all over a perfect balance of melody and aggression with a mossy backwoods twist. Their talent has been awarded as the unanimous winner of the 2009 Michigan State Battle of the The Bands.
