Winchester Solution

Winchester Solution is a 4 piece rock & roll band from Chowchilla, California. Shawn Michael Allen handles the bass and vocals, Tim Smith plays the guitar, Royle Allen also plays guitar, and Justin Smith keeps their timing right on the drums. They were formerly known as the PRiCKS, and under that name they've sold over 1,000 CDs and had close to 45,000 views averaging 100 hits a day, but due to many hurdles one might assume would come with that name, they decided to dump it and start anew.
They are without a doubt one of the hottest bands from the Central Valley right now, their music was featured on 2 separate radio stations, with 2 of their songs, 'Blood' and 'Number One', being played regularly on 92.5 the Bear KBRE out of Merced, Ca. and their recent appearance on New Rock 104.1 KFRR out of Fresno, Ca. in which they hosted an hour of radio and played 5 of their own songs! 92.5 also had Shawn and Royle live in the studio on the morning show for and hour to promote their recent appearance at the 2010 Chowchilla-Madera County Fair with Black Robot. They also have 2 of their songs on 2 different film soundtracks. the song 'Ride' is featured in the film Trippin' by director Devi Snively (see imdb.com) and the independent fan made documentary about the Evil Dead movies by director Shane Brown that not only uses their 'Evil Dead Thrillogy' song, but also features an appearance by the band as well as appearances from such horror icons as actor Robert Englund, the Ladies of the Evil Dead, director Lloyd Kauffman of Troma Films, and is narrated by none other than Joe Bob Briggs! They've also recently been tapped to do the theme song for Pro Wrestling Bushido, an independent wrestling company based in Modesto, Ca that just secured a one hour a week syndicated T.V. show.
Members of the band have also performed with artists like: Rascal Flatts, Weezer, Johnny Rivers, Misfits, Kottonmouth Kings and many more, making for a unique sound when it comes to their original material and when it's time for covers, they stop at no genre of music, playing songs from N.W.A. to George Jones to the Killers. From nightclubs to arenas, fairs and festivals, even biker rallys and bars, Winchester Solution is comfortable on any stage, and pleasing to any crowd.

This just in: Winchester Solution's songs 'Blood' and 'Ride' to be featured in the upcoming independent horror film 'The Mystic' from Director Robert J. Thissen, winner of the national "Grand Prize" award in the Sundance and Sci Fi Channel’s Exposure Film Contest for writing and directing the sci-fi thriller film "Paradox Road."
