Winter Grain was formed in the early winter of 2016. Today, the band features Kate Anderson, Secily Anderson, and Scott Klismith at its core. Honored to have recorded with Grammy Award winner and producer, Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio, Winter Grain continues to create new Folk-Americana songs that are the product of folk/country vocals, three part harmonies, dueling guitars, and lyrical story-telling. They strive to craft good, fun, and beautiful music to honor any stage they bring it to.

Biography

Originating from Salt Lake City in Utah, Winter Grain is a Folk-Americana band comprised of players from all walks of life. In the winter of 2016, between new friendships and old, the band came together to collectively share in a new music project to craft songs from their wide variety of backgrounds. Winter Grain is the product of folk/country vocals, three part harmonies, dueling guitars, and lyrical story-telling. The project has no rules as to what style they may create. It was simply agreed that they want to craft good, fun, and beautiful music that can honor any stage they bring it to. Within their short time together, they have recorded a self-titled EP with Grammy Award winner and producer, Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio, and a follow-up EP out of Pale Horse Sound in Salt Lake City. Since they are all (nearly) full time musicians, they have more than one project, so check the MEDIA tab on the band website and follow @wintergrainband
on Instagram to see where you can find them all next.
