The new sound they embarked on is a combination of electronika and rock. The members of Winter don't exactly always see eye to eye. Winter, auteur of the project band and Josh argue for the sake of arguement. If Winter argues the sky is blue, Josh will contend that it is in fact, yellow. This symbiotic clash results in a sonic orgy of sonic pop punk psychadelia laden rock that is Winter. Only the devil knows how they truly came about. The power duo was reformed from a previous incarnation over five years ago. They have since devoured their influences and regurgitated them back up in the solid digital releases via all of the usual suspects, "Escape Artist (to be released 2010)" "White God Machine" and "Deceit." See www.musicwinter.com for more information. Based in Chicago and Detroit, Winter's music is ever-evolving. Winter had combined many different styles of music, from Prodigy to David Bowie. If you ask Winter, he will tell you that he wasn't born, he was willed into the world by the power of his own musical destiny. Asking MacWilliams results in the ordering of another beer. I will definitely say that Winter is a black tempest cyclone, who finally admitted his flaws to Josh a few weeks ago. The angst ridden sonic expletive that is Winter would like to say to everyone, that we really do not like your reality.
Winter recently started working with TinderBox Music who are currently promoting Winter to over 300 college radio stations throughout the USA.
