Biography

Making waves in the rock genre, WIRED has gained a strong following of loyal fans (both on Long Island and across the US) with numerous credits on T.V., film and radio.

Soon after their first single, "Every Little Thing" was declared the number one most requested song on WLIR radio, the band won TAXI's coveted President's Choice Award. As a result, WIRED was flown to Los Angeles to showcase their talents for a panel of A & R representatives.

In September 2005, WIRED went national, releasing their debut full length album, "Your First Time" through Koch Distribution/Sony Red. For the next two years, WIRED hit the road, touring relentlessly, gaining both fans and recognition through their own efforts.

In the Spring of 2009, WIRED released their second album, "The Morning After" as a follow up to their debut national release. The album was released digitally through iTunes.

WIRED has shared the stage with acts such as - Cartel, Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, Ashley Parker Angel, Patent Pending, Diffuser, Wheatus and many more.

WIRED has been featured in such publications as Black Velvet Magazine, Teen Trend, Inside Connection, Good Times, Aural Fix, The Village Voice, The Long Island Press, and New York Newsday.

Their film credits include ESPN’s Baseball Tonight, two songs in the movie - “Malibu Spring Break” and the band's song, "Time to Go" is featured in the 2008 release titled - “Foreign Exchange"
