Witness

My name is Nicholas Rigano and I am 27 years old. I live in Columbus, Ohio. My artist name is Witness, which is derived of the thought of testifying of someone by way of actions and methods. The style of music I perform is Hip-Hop with a rock edge, which is another alternative style of hip-hop. I focus on the art of being a lyricist, using words to create pictures and messages. I have been writing lyrics and music since I was 14 years old. I started with a rap-core band and that has evolved into me being a solo artist. I have just finished my first full length album named, "My Rock," and the inspiration was taken from the story of David and Goliath.
I have a passion to reach young people with a message of positive hope and truth from a Christian platform. In that message I strive to use media and arts as a way to communicate the powerful encounter that has forever shaped and changed my life. I have come to the conclusion that the change was not just for me but for everyone! So that is why I make music and that is why I have to tell my story. So that everyone who is seeking truth and looking for a change can find the only One that can make that change for them. I am a witness of the One that brings life out of death and makes the broken whole.
