Born as Jevshua Muniz on May 5th, 1987, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico; Jevshua a.k.a. Wito 'El Jefe' has always been a musician, who took his music into a more serious approach at the early age of 11. Since then, Wito has put out numerous albums and singles. Wito has performed in countless locations as far away as Europe, as well as the Islands. He has starred as opening act for various events statewide and for recognizable artists such as Zion y Lenox, Baby Rasta Y Gringo, Randy Glocc, Alexis Y Fido, Ivy Queen, Elephant Man and many more.

Wito’s goal is simply to change the barrier between English Hip Hop and Spanish Hip Hop / Reggaeton. The vast and versatile approach that Wito provides is an explosion of good music, in which time after time has impressed audiences in many parts of the world and in the U.S. Locally, Wito has placed others before himself to help create the sound and production of other artists. Jevshua’s love for music has been his drive to success and he expects to accomplish what other Hispanic artists have yet to accomplish, which is sell more albums to another race than anyone has been able to do. Jevshua’s record label Cacique Family Productions has been a strong and successful Indie Label since its inception in 2000.

With 25 years of age, Wito continues to be consistent and driven to accomplish and create new goals to help our music today. Jevshua has also been part of helping military families on base and performing for troops, whom were coming back from war. He has showcased his music at the Latin Billboards awards in 2009. Jevshua Muniz loves to be involved in anything music related and has always been proud of his work. With plenty of new projects on his agenda, Wito promises to always be unswerving with his music and fans. Although still unsigned, the Indie artist still remains humble and patient for his fans, friends, and family.
