Upcoming independent artist Wize Kaizz, Adam Kaiser, is a 27 year old rapper hailing from a small town in Dearborn County, Indiana.
Kaizz has always had an interest in music ever since he was a small child. His career began in elementary school when he learned to play the recorder for music class. The year after he decided to join the school band starting with the saxophone before switching to percussion instruments, namely drums. Although he loved playing the drums he would later drop out of the band due to an ongoing issue with his music teacher, it was not until his senior year of high school that he rejoined, joining the marching band as a guitarist.
During his time away from the school band, Kaizz switched again from drums to bass to guitar, playing the guitar throughout most of his time in high school, hence how he was able to rejoin the school band. Kaizz did form a couple of his own bands during this time with one gaining interest from a record label, but unfortunately a deal never materialised due to a band member’s drug addiction.
At 20 years old not only his career but his whole life was put on hold after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and had to undergo radiation and chemotherapy. Despite the physical and mental toll Kaizz had to endure he did beat it and is still in remission to this day.
In 2019 Kaizz made the transition from musician to rapper. After everything he had experienced in life, he wanted to share his story with the world in hopes to help someone with anything they might be going through. He has always been intrigued by how rappers write and construct lyrics, and that was how he wanted to share his story.
His music is best defined as somewhere between raw underground Hip Hop and emo rap, with soft piano based beats layered with deep and thought provoking lyrics. Despite his short time in the rap game Wize Kaizz has really come into his own, having a truly unique vocal delivery and being unashamed to talk about personal topics that other rappers might have stayed away from. Writing, producing, recording and with the ability to play multiple instruments, Kaizz is the very definition of a true artist. His debut single “Here’s to Us” is available on all major streaming platforms as well as his follow up single “The Grind”. With a plethora of talent and unencumbered by the obstacles that have stood in his way, Kaizz has the whole world at his fingertips.
