Bio
Matt McNeil is a producer and DJ from New Waterford, Nova Scotia. There's never just one genre of electronic music you’ll hear in a Wobblefish set-there’s a bit of everything. Expect sudden tempo changes and switch-ups from dubstep, dnb, electro and more styles of high energy bass party music.
“Music has always been a huge part of my life. Since high school, I’ve played guitar in bands, recorded my own songs, and played with effects in digital recording programs. After falling in love with electronic music, producing and playing it was just the next natural progression."
Having brought his unique take on electronic music to Antic 2011 (Windsor, NS), Steppin' @ Reflections (Halifax, NS), and all over Sydney, Wobblefish shows no sign of slowing down.
Wobblefish has had tracks played on CKDU's "Bass Rebel Radio" (Halifax), SUB.fm online radio (Montreal) and the J'aime Le Dubstep radio show on Dubstep.fm.
With one track officially released by Abstract Logic Recordings - Atlanta, GA (“Blue Moon”, available on BeatPort) and his unreleased material backed by a strong following on SoundCloud, Wobblefish is an emerging artist that is ready to take it to the top.
