Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen

WonderfullyCourteousGentlemen are a three piece from Bristol producing live dance music through the combination of traditional instruments and electronics. Straddling both the dance and indie scenes, they balance experimentation and original production with the basis of strong song writing.

Wonderfully Courteous Gentlemen are a three-piece dance/indie band from Bristol, UK. Originally forming in 2007 for a burlesque charity gig,
they have gradually evolved their music through the intuitive and unique use of both analogue and digital equipment, coupled with their self-production of recordings and live sound.

Their self-produced and released, debut EP "You Can Can", spring 2009 has been celebrated by numerous publications and E-zines.

They have been compared to Holy Fuck, Nine Inch Nails and The Rapture and have consistent airplay on BBC Radio Bristol and BBC 6Music, as well as recently winning the Bristol Harbourside Unsigned competition from over 200 entries.

Their furiously energetic live shows, including Glastonbury Dance Village, have been well received by audiences and industry professionals alike.

"The heart-on-sleeve emotion of a great guitar band tangled in the cables of a synth laden, drum machine-addled dance outfit. WonderfullyCourteousGentlemen will not be at home until they are playing the main stage at a festival!"
-Venue Magazine

"WCG deliver us with a set of stunning dancefloor grooves. Difficult to label so place under the section that is ‘just brilliant’. Love it."
