"What a Wonderful World - Troy Anderson"

February's Fat Tuesday on Hollywood Beach. The great and gracious Kermit Ruffins was playing on the main stage, and I was sitting on amps in back, so enjoying the magic of the final moments nearing the end of a long festival production.

Troy came by and I invited him up to sit with me, then - as magical timing always does - a moment came in the concert when I introduced him to Kermit who, with the biggest smile, not only greeted Troy but handed him his own trumpet, motioning to take the front. Troy didn't play, as a wise musician would in the presence of a Kermit Ruffins, but he sang - What a Wonderful World. I have tears at the memory, and remembering the joy on Kermit's face, and imagining Troy's peaceful delight. The icing on the cake and a fond moment to remember. - Supurb Artists - Holly Spillane, Promoter - Publisher

"Troy Anderson's Band - Worth The 2 Hour Drive"

Event: Club/Nightclub in Miami Beach, FL

Review: We took the two hour drive down the coast to Miami Beach specifically to catch Troy's show at the Van Dyke and we were not disappointed although the drive back was later than we expected because it was so hard to leave the music! Troy had the place packed...standing room only...and the people loved it. It is not an exaggeration to say that he had over 90% of the people in the room, aged 10 to 80, participating at some point throughout the show. Everyone loved the music and the show.
Troy, backed by the excellent musicians in his band, not only provides an engaging show but entertainment at a higher level because of the quality of music and presentation. And, of course, Troy's accessibility between sets adds to the "Satchmo" experience as Troy exudes the not only the appearance and musical talents of this great man, but also his profound ability to connect to any audience. Troy makes it memorable.

"Deborah Ford - Publisher"

This man, musician, tribute artist, and artist in his own right, is unbelievable. Hard to tell where Anderson stops and Armstrong begins. They must be one in the same! I wish Louis Armstrong himself could have heard this talented man, although maybe he has! - examiner.com

""Satchmo" Comes to life"

"Anderson's Armstrong is too natural to be called uncanny. He starts out with the look and slips easily into the rest. The dinner jacket, the trumpet- with hanky, and the roly poly voice and the joie de vivre.
