"Intervista Relics Controsuoni"

Intervista Wonder Vincent (di Laura Dainelli, foto di Uliana Piro) - Intervista Relics Controsuoni

"Viva LowCost"

RockIt - RockIt

Bio

The nucleus of the band was formed in 2009, originally named "Lo Sciopero Degli Andrea" and composed by Andrea Tocci (vocals) and Andrea Spigarelli (drums). Later new members join the band: Andrea Meriggioli (bass guitar) and Filippo Ciccioli (guitars). The quartet chose the name of the band in honour of the various "Vincenzo" who influenced their young mind's culture, from Vincenzo Sparagna, director of the Frigidaire magazine, to the poet Vincenzo Costantino, and the WV adventure gets officially started.

Many live performances, also on important stages like the M.E.I, in Faenza, the Qube in Rome and the Puccini Theater in Florence, many songs and immediately two changing of the guards: Matteo Cirella (bass guitar) and Luca Luciani (guitars).

During the instability of the period, was released, in November 2011, GOOD NEWS FOR HARD TIMES, first EP self-produced by the band: in these three tracks the old Delta and the afro american school meets the syncopated funk and the country music in order to create a "carnal and direct rock'n'roll.
Shortly thereafter, Wonder Vincent have to temporarily replace Matteo Cirella with Marco Zitoli, a bassist who has got many years of experience and suitable sounds with the band. During the following months the band shares the stage with great artists such as Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, Folkabbestia, a Toys Orchestra and MCR, always having a fantastic feedback with the public, thanks to an engaging live show.

A year after the releasing of GOOD NEWS FOR HARD TIMES, Wonder Vincent go back in studio in order to create a real album. The 23rd November 2012 was released the video of "My little Bunny", official video preview from the new concept album, viewed by more than 3000 people in two months.
The 25th February 2013 was released "The Amazing Story of Roller Kostner", first album of the band. in its eight tracks Roller Kostner's story is told: a veteran who's mad with love and life
