Musician Biography

Wood Madison, an eclectic folk rock band driven by singer-song writer Collin Demos, emerged out of the passionate music scene of Asbury Park, NJ. With compelling influences by artists such as Glen Hansard of The Frames, Colin Hay, and Niel Young, Wood Madison has developed a unique modern folk-rock sound wrapped around inspiring and truly powerful lyrics. The impassioned songs are tastefully accompanied by the awe-inspiring riffs of Saxaphonist Andy Demos.

Collin Demos moved in and out of multiple projects, playing bass, mainly, and writing lyrics, before he decided to pick up an acoustic guitar and step up to the front of the stage. Performing his songs with the suspense, passion, and orchestration intended when they were written, Collin has stepped out of the shadows of the stage and into the spotlight.

Music is undoubtedly a lifestyle for the members of Wood Madison as they busk on New Jersey's streets, fill local venues, and spend their days writing, listening to, and thriving to learn more and more about music as a hobby, passion, and business. As their first, six track album, "Everything In Moderation", is hitting the streets and making some great local noise, new songs are quickly being brewed up and new venues are being explored.
